    Rev. Linda (Boxler) Wansing ’84 (Kansas City, Mo.) became a United Methodist minister in July 2013.

    Dr. Jennifer (Dye) McNay ’87 (Springfield, Mo.) was named department chairwoman for Mercy Adult Primary Care.

    Belinda (Williams) Phillips ’88 (Linn Creek, Mo.) was elected to the Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks Board of Directors.

    Jody (Sparks) Austin ’89 (Springfield, Mo.) was awarded the Liberty Bell Award by the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association.

    Curtis Dinan ’89 (Tulsa, Okla.) joined ONE Gas as Senior Vice President – Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.

  • Dr. Nancy (Martin) Lawler ’90, M.Ed. ‘97 (Ava, Mo.) joined the Ava school district as superintendent.

    Mary (England) Yarber M.Ed. ’91 (Springfield, Mo.) was elected patriotic instructor of the local charter of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War, 1861-65.

    Jennifer (Matlock) Ingraham ’93 (Kansas City, Mo.) was named one of the Kansas City Business Journal’s “NextGen Leaders.”

    Tim Jones ’93 (Springfield, Mo.) began serving on the CoxHealth Joint Operations Committee as chairman in April 2014.

    Charity (Newton) Elmer ’94 (Springfield, Mo.) was named to the Ozarks Regional YMCA board of directors; and was also named senior vice president and general counsel for CoxHealth.

    Steve Fleischaker ’94 (Overland Park, Kan.) was named one of the Kansas City Business Journal’s “NextGen Leaders.”

    Senator Bob Dixon ’97, M.Ed. ‘09 (Springfield, Mo.) was recognized by the Missouri Police Chiefs Association as the “2013 Senator of the Year.”

    Meleah Spencer ’97 (Springfield, Mo.) joined the Discovery Center in March 2014 as executive director.

    Debbie (Cox) Hickey ’98 (Battlefield, Mo.) earned the Certified Municipal Official designation from the Missouri Municipal League.

    Courtney (Ferguson) James ’98 (Kalamazoo, Mich.) was a 2012-13 inductee into the Battle Creek Central High School Hall of Fame for outstanding achievements and contributions to school, community and career; and joined the Skillman Corporation as project manager.

    Brian Jared ’99 (Rogersville, Mo.) was elected as the 2014 president of the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors.

    Aaron Washburn ’99 (Jefferson City, Mo.) joined DentaQuest as executive director in September 2013.

    Dr. Billy Holt ’00 (Nixa, Mo.) opened VIP Medical Services LLC in April 2014 in Ozark, Mo.

    Dr. Stephanie (Settle) Afful ’01 (St. Louis, Mo.) was invited to write a chapter in the book The Teaching of Psychology in Autobiography: Perspectives from Exemplary Teachers (Volume 5), published by the Society for Teaching Psychology. The chapter is entitled, “Paying it Forward: Continuing the Care and Student Engagement in College Teaching.”

    Dr. Laura (Eisinger) Naught ’00 (Jefferson City, Mo.) received her Ph.D. in veterinary pathobiology from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a research emphasis in toxicology and public health.

    Jay Bartelsmeyer ’01 (Rolla, Mo.) was awarded the Central District of Missouri Outstanding Music Teacher Award by the Missouri Music Educators Association.

    Kurt Berry ’01 (Saint Louis, Mo.) was elected as partner of BKD, LLP.

    Dr. Jared Terry ’06, M.Ed. ’09 (Fordland, Mo.) received an Ed.D. in educational administration from Lindenwood University.

    Lori Johnson MBA ’13 (Springfield, Mo.) was named the 2014-15 vocational service officer for the Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast.

    Austin Seaborn ’13 (Mountain Home, Ark.) was accepted into the White House Internship Program and completed his internship in May 2014.

    Paden Chambers M.Arch ’14 (Springfield, Mo.) joined nForm Architecture as project associate.

    Zach Daniels ’14 (Springfield, Mo.) was one of five selected out of more than 3,000 applicants for admission to the Manhattan School of the Arts.

    Dylan Rinker ’14 (Galena, Mo.) accepted an offer from Indiana State University Bloomington to complete a Ph.D. in French Literature. The offer includes two fellowships and a four-year contract as an associate instructor of French.

    Whitney White M.A. ’14 (Gladstone, Mo.) joined the Springfield Sports Commission as assistant director.

    Ashley Witt ’14 (Ash Grove, Mo.) was accepted into the Masters of Art in Russian and Eastern European History program at Indiana University.

    Ashley Witt ’14 and Dylan Rinker ’14 made the journey from Drury Lane to the Indiana University Bloomington at the beginning of August. After graduating from Drury, Ashley was accepted into a master’s program in Russian and Eastern European history, while Dylan is pursuing a master’s and Ph.D. in Québécois literature.
